DIY Guitar Pick Punch

Today i'm ika i want to share this one’s for the guitar players. Have fun strumming your guitar with cute guitar picks!

LAMPS & OLD T-SHIRT

LAMPS & OLD T-SHIRTS

Punya banyak t-shirt yang udah jarang dipakai? Gimana kalo kita aplikasikan ide seru dari sebuah design studio asal Inggris, yaitu Belle & VIDERE, yang mengubah kaos-kaos lama menjadi vintage lamp shades. What a cool idea! Great project. It is so cute! -

THE DREAM BOARD PROJECT

Gimana caranya ngewujudin semua mimpi kita? The dream board to the rescue! Sebenernya, dream board is a board full of visual representation of the things that we want to achieve, in long or short term.

1. Imagine our wildest dream. Tempat mana yang pengen banget kita kunjungin? It can be anywhere in the world. Pengen liat menara Pisa di Roma, Eiffel di Paris, Aurora Borealis di Iceland atau malah Raja Ampat di Papua. Get a picture of those places that we like the most and put it in our board.

It can happen if we are willing to try!

5. Put a job we really want to do. This is our dream board and no one will judge us here. Put it there and get inspired!

6. There might be a difference that you want to make in this world. Mungkin kita udah lama pengen bikin organisasi amal kecil-kecilan, atau pengen jadi volunteer sosial. Remind ourselves by putting on the pictures about what we want to do for the world.

7. How do you want to look like?

8. Mungkin kita udah lama mimpiin pengen nonton konser seleb favorit. When we can dream it, we can achieve it! Nginget hal ini bakal bikin kita makin semangat nabung.

9. Orang sekitar ngebentuk hidup kita.

DIY Charging station

While charger cables are not nearly as annoying as headphone wires, especially when they're in your pocket
However, they're pretty frustrating as well, especially when you have lots of devices at home and end up with a different charger for your Samsung phone, your iPhone, your SO's non-smart phone, the tablet, the laptop, the camera, the whatever gadget you've accumulated over time. In the end you might have as much as ten different chargers, with ten different cables.
Now, there are a lot of different ways you can make an organizer for your chargers, largely depending on the amount of time and effort you want to spend making it.
The most complicated one is probably the recharge drawer with independent switches for each charger.
The easiest is to use a shoe box.

  1. Materials :

A power coupler
A cardboard box
Scissors
Office knife
Glue / Duct tape
Pencil / Pen
Ruler
Paper Clippers
Decorative hole frames / Washers / Spacers
Other decorative elements
Some notes:
The power coupler obviously needs to be big enough to house all your chargers. But also, it's best to use one that has a central switch that on/off's the entire coupler. That will allow you to be a bit safer using the recharge station.
The cardboard box needs to be big enough to house the coupler and charger. The easiest one to use is a show box, but any of decent size, which has a lid will work. Plastic boxes and containers also work, but are a bit harder to drill into.
Decorative elements represent:presents wrap, ribbons, beads, small figurines, generally any design element you might want to add to your recharge box.

DIY Protect charger

hi i'm ika, know i will share how to make protect charger
Tangled headphones, frayed cords, misplaced chargers our plugged-in lives come with cord-related setbacks.
In addition to personalizing, the extra layers of floss and tape will help prevent knotting and fraying of your cords. Added bonus!

Option #1: Embroidery Floss
Best for: Thin cords like USB chargers or headphones
What you'll need:
• 2 to 4 colors of embroidery floss
• Scissors
Measure out 4 strands of embroidery floss that are each three times as long as the cord (not including the port ends). Collect the strands and knot them together at one end. Using the basic knotting technique, knot an equal amount of each color around the cord (and the loose ends of your starting knot). I recommend 10 to 30 knots per color. Continue until the length is covered. Tie to finish.

Option #2: Washi Tape
Best for: Thicker cords or power pack chargers
What you'll need:
• A selection of washi (Japanese paper tape)
• Scissors
Cut sections of washi tape, and start wrapping, in alternating stripes, around your cord (for a clean cut, use scissors instead of tearing). Avoid covering any moving parts or ports! If your cord has thinner sections to it, make sure to stock up on plenty of traditional papery washi tape. The thicker, glossier type (like those made by Martha Stewart) don't bend as well, wrap as tightly, or stay as easily. They will work fine on the bulkier sections of your cord, though.
